Royal Arch Masons … ‘What is this doing here’? you may ask, well I thought I would show what else is out there, and having only joined last year and just four meetings in, would put a meeting update written, by Chris Barrett, on our Latest page to give you a little insight.
The Loyal Manor Chapter No. 6445 met at Portland Masonic Hall on the evening of Tuesday the 4th April and were joined by 3rd Provincial Grand Principal Dave Sandall and his Provincial team.
While the evening included several agenda items of an administrative nature in preparation for the Installation meeting in October, officers of the Chapter gave explanations of their respective jewels and Comp Brian Sharrock gave an introduction to the Chapter jewel.
This series of brief talks were of particular interest to those who had attended the previous meeting where an explanation of the Platonic Solids and the latest instalment further expanded this portion of Masonic knowledge.
Following the meeting there followed an enjoyable Festive Board, during which all diners were treated to a glass of port, curtesy of Ex Comp Derek Pile who was celebrating his birthday. Curtesy of Chris Barrett.
