Musket, Pike and Drum Lodge 9906

On the 29th October 2022 W/Bro Brian Barton, PGStB of the Loyal Manor Lodge 6445, was invited to visit the ” Musket, Pike, and Drum Lodge 9906 at Alton in the Province of Hampshire, to present them with one of his specially made cable tows, which are now becoming known not only across the country but across parts of the world.

WM with his Wardens and Initiates

Brian was accompanied by W/Bro’s Graham Cook, Derek Pile, and Roger Hart, all of whom thoroughly enjoyed themselves at this lovely and somewhat unusual meeting of a travelling re-enactment Lodge. During the meeting they performed a double initiation. The clothing that some officers wished to wear was dependent on the re-enactors area of interest, which varied widely from Nelson and Trafalger to King Richard III and the battle of Bosworth Fields.

Brian also had the pleasure of presenting a GL Certificate to one of their more recent members.

All in all a brilliant day, finishing up with an excellent festive board.
