Chris Barrett made a donation of £280 on behalf of the lodge to the Veterans Hub and had great pleasure in visiting them and having a catch-up tour with Andy Price, the founder and Director. The facilities have developed greatly since Chris last visited in March 2020 and now includes a gym, an outdoor vegetable garden, a cafe and dining area. The premises also includes a shop which looks on to the Portland Road, which has since been converted into a large office and includes a physiotherapy room.
The photo includes Andy and Gavin Sandford, a Veteran who attended our June dining in night. Gavin was Initiated in 2000, is a Past Master of the Yeatman Biggs Lodge 2672 in London and is also a holder of London Grand Rank. Chris will be working more closely with the Veterans Hub, not just because of the connection to Gavin and because of the variety of Veterans within the lodge, but because of the increasingly diverse support services which they provide to meet so many needs.
