The Loyal manor Lodge 6445 are happy to welcome a third candidate in 2022 Stuart Johnson. Stuart made it three Initiations in a row and a great line up in the North East corner with his new made brothers Charlie and Sam.

The Loyal manor Lodge 6445 are happy to welcome a second candidate in 2022 Sam Wynne. It is great to see new initiates together and these two new members have been very patient as they both applied to join in 2019 before the pandemic.

The Loyal Manor lodge welcome Charlie Ellis as our first initiation since Loyal Manor restarted meeting, post pandemic. The evening was extra special as Charlie’s obligation was carried out by his Grandfather W.Bro Derek Sawtell who is also our Lodge Almoner.
Christmas Cake kindly donated by Marion and Mike Lambourne
The Christmas Meeting was a great get together, with all Covid safety precautions in place, allowing over 60 brothers and guests to enjoy a Christmas meal together.
Sadly the Brass Band could not be there to lead us into our carol singing but this was not to hold back W.Bro Tony Smallman leading the way and the carols being sung without musical accompaniment.
The carols were also a great warm up to the the more raucous and legendary 12 Days of Christmas involving three sets of tables delivering their sections of the famous song.
All proceeds raised are to be passed to the local charity Home-Start West Dorset and a further donation to The Friends of Sherborne Abbey and to the 2021 Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.
Well done to all those organising another great evening of fun, and for charity.
Twelve walkers took part, including three wives, with seven covering the seven mile walk and five of the walkers the twenty mile walk, which turned into twenty four miles!
The walkers left Poole Masonic Hall at 0830, had an hour lunch at Swanage, kindly arranged by Bro James Whatley of Llewellin Lodge, and completed the walk at 17.30.
The target for the day was £500 but finally raised £530 towards the 2025 Festival.
Well done to the dedicated walkers and achieving the charity target for the day
