Tuesday the 5th December, 2023: Loyal Manor Chapter no. 6445 met for the first time since the October Installation. Unfortunately MEZ John Travers was unwell and so was not able to attend but Ex Comp Roger Hart was gifted the opportunity to stand in, a task which he accomplished with great credit. Alongside him were Ex Comp Martin Dodd and Ex Comp Brian Barton as 2nd and 3rd Principles respectively. The Chapter welcomed an official guest in the person of Ex Comp Ralph Stone who was representing United Service Chapter no. 3473.
With no Exaultation planned the Chapter instead conducted a detailed explanation of the ceremony itself, prepared and presented by Comp Brian Sharrock, with the assistance of other Companions who each read out a section of the script which had been collated from the Masonic web resource Solomon. The presentation was not only helpful to those who have recently been through the ceremony themselves, but also to other Companions who are still on their journey to fully understanding the complexity of the ceremony of Exaltation.
On completion the Chapter, with guest, retired downstairs to the festive board, where, despite the relatively small number gathered, a very enjoyable and good humoured meal was had by all. During the evening a raffle was held, raising funds for local charity The Veterans Hub.
